“SMPN 1 Jambe Gelar MPLS Bagi Siswa Baru Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023”
Kabupaten Tangerang, Focustangerang.com – Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) merupakan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan sekolah setiap awal tahun pelajaran untuk menyambut dan sebagai ajang perkenalan para siswa di lingkungan sekolah.
Ketua PPDB dan MPLS SMP Negeri 1 Jambe, Sudono mengatakan, pelaksanaan MPLS dilakukan selama 3 hari yakni pada minggu pertama awal tahun pelajaran, disini dimulai sejak Kamis, 14 Juli 2022 sampai dengan Sabtu, 16 Juli 2022.
“Alhamdulilah, tahun ini ada penambahan siswa sebanyak 1 rombel dibanding dengan tahun lalu, Untuk tahun ini jumlah peserta 288 siswa dengan 8 rombel,” kata Ketua Sudono kepada Focus Tangerang, Sabtu, (16/07/2022).
Sementara, Kepala SMP Negeri 1 Jambe H. Muh. Ibrahim Lakoni, menuturkan, pihak sekolah berkewajiban menyambut dan membantu peserta didik baru untuk beradaptasi di lingkungan sekolah melalui MPLS, hal ini sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) Nomor 18 Tahun 2016.
“Saat ini MPLS di SMPN 1 Jambe diisi dengan kegiatan pembinaan dari babinsa dan binamas Desa Rancabuaya dengan tema Cegah Kenakalan Remaja dan Penyalahgunaan narkoba,” tutur Kepsek.
Masih kata Kepsek H. Ibrahim, MPLS selain untuk beradaptasi dan mengenal lingkungan sekolah, juga untuk mencegah kenakalan remaja terutama mencegah generasi muda dari penyalahgunaan narkoba.
“Agar SMPN 1 Jambe bisa menjadi lebih baik lagi dalam mendidik dan melayani masyarakat serta menghasilkan siswa siswi yang menjadi kebanggaan sesuai apa yang diharapkan oleh kedua orang tuanya,” harap Kepsek.
Turut mengisi acara MPLS di SMPN 1 Jambe, Babinsa Serda Wastono, Sertu Yatno sebagai pemateri penyalahgunaan narkoba dan kenakalan remaja dari Koramil 6 Tigaraksa dan Binamas Aipda Ari P dari Polsek Tigaraksa.
