Dokter Spesialis Jantung RSUD Tigaraksa Edukasi Masyarakat Mengenal Penyakit Jantung dan Cara Pencegahannya

Tangerang,- Dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesehatan jantung, RSUD Tigaraksa menyelenggarakan kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan bertema “Mengenal Penyakit Jantung” di Ruang Tunggu Farmasi RSUD Tigaraksa. Kegiatan ini menghadirkan dr. Achmad Ismail Putra, Sp.JP, dokter spesialis jantung dan pembuluh darah RSUD Tigaraksa, sebagai narasumber. Penyuluhan diikuti oleh pasien dan keluarga pasien yang sedang menunggu pelayanan farmasi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab interaktif.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penyakit jantung, mulai dari pengertian, penyebab, faktor risiko, gejala, komplikasi, hingga langkah-langkah pencegahannya. Dalam penyampaiannya, dr. Achmad Ismail Putra menjelaskan bahwa penyakit jantung merupakan kelompok penyakit yang memengaruhi fungsi jantung, seperti penyakit jantung koroner, gagal jantung, aritmia, dan penyakit jantung bawaan. Berbagai faktor risiko, seperti kolesterol tinggi, hipertensi, diabetes, merokok, obesitas, kurang aktivitas fisik, riwayat keluarga, serta stres, dapat meningkatkan kemungkinan seseorang mengalami penyakit jantung apabila tidak dikendalikan dengan baik.
Selain membahas faktor risiko, peserta juga diberikan edukasi mengenai gejala yang perlu diwaspadai, seperti nyeri dada, sesak napas, detak jantung tidak teratur, kelelahan berlebihan, hingga pembengkakan pada tungkai. Narasumber menekankan bahwa keluhan nyeri dada, terutama yang menjalar ke lengan atau rahang, disertai sesak napas maupun keringat dingin, merupakan kondisi yang memerlukan penanganan medis segera. Edukasi juga menyoroti pentingnya menerapkan pola hidup sehat melalui konsumsi makanan bergizi seimbang, olahraga teratur, menjaga berat badan ideal, berhenti merokok, mengelola stres, serta rutin memeriksa tekanan darah, kadar kolesterol, dan kesehatan jantung secara berkala.
Melalui kegiatan ini, RSUD Tigaraksa berharap masyarakat semakin memahami pentingnya deteksi dini dan pengendalian faktor risiko penyakit jantung sehingga mampu menerapkan gaya hidup sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kesehatan jantung, diharapkan angka kejadian penyakit jantung beserta komplikasinya dapat ditekan, sehingga kualitas hidup masyarakat dapat terus terjaga.
