Kabupaten Tangerang, Focustangerang.com – Peristiwa kebakaran yang menimpa Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Nurul Huda Kp. Leuwi Halu Kelurahan Tigaraksa hari Minggu (09/10) lalu yang menghanguskan satu unit bangunan itu langsung dikunjungi Camat Tigaraksa dan BPBD Kabupaten Tangerang.
Kunjungan Camat Tigaraksa Hjm Rahyuni dan BPBD Kabupaten Tangerang ini guna memastikan kondisi terakhir ponpes sekaligus menyalurkan bantuan sembako.
Diketahui terbakarnya sebuah kobong (asrama santri) di Ponpes milik Ustadz Romli itu diduga akibat korsleting listrik. Tak lama api cepat menyebar menghanguskan bangunan sehingga nyaris rata dengan tanah.
Api akhirnya bisa padam setelah warga Kp. Leuwi Halu RT. 04/04 berupaya memadamkan dengan disiram air seadanya memakai ember. Beruntung api tidak merambah ke rumah warga sekitar.
“Alhamdulillah api padam dan tak sempat menjalar ke bangunan sebelah karena kami para santri dibantu warga sekitar berupaya memadamkan dengan peralatan seadanya, tapi ya bisa dilihat itu bangunan Kobong terbakar semua tak bisa dipakai lagi,” ungkap Ustadz Rohim ditemui dilokasi, Selasa (11/10).
Ustadz Rohim juga mengungkapkan saat kejadian, para santri sedang tidak di kobong tapi sedang mengaji di Majelis usai menunaikan sholat Dzuhur sehingga saat api muncul tak sempat diketahui sehingga keburu api membesar.
Sementara, Endang Lasun Ketua RW setempat saat mendampingi Tim Kecamatan dan Kelurahan mengucapkan terima kasih termasuk juga kepada Camat Tigaraksa yang Senin kemarin nya (10/10) sudah datang juga menyerahkan bantuan tunai.
