PW IPNU Banten Gelar Doa Bersama Wujudkan Pilkada Damai 2024

Lebak, – PW IPNU Provinsi Banten menyelenggarakan doa bersama untuk keamanan dan kedamaian menjelang Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Serentak Tahun 2024, pada Selasa (19/11/2024), di Ponpes Al Marjan, Cipanas, Lebak, Banten.
M. Riziq Shihab selaku Ketua PW IPNU Banten, menyampaikan bahwa Pilkada merupakan momentum penting yang menentukan arah masa depan masyarakat Provinsi Banten serta kabupaten-kabupaten dan kota se-Provinsi Banten.
“Pilkada sejatinya bukanlah sebuah kompetisi, melainkan kontestasi untuk memilih pemimpin yang amanah” ungkapnya.
Ia juga mengingatkan bahwa perbedaan pilihan adalah hal yang wajar dan biasa. Harapannya euforia Pilkada di Provinsi Banten semakin mengharmonisasikan masyarakat dan menghormati pilihan masing-masing.
“Saya mengajak masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam tiap tahapan Pilkada baik sebagai pemilih yang cerdas maupun pengawas yang kritis,” imbuhnya.
Terakhir, ia mengajak semua stakeholder, masyarakat, dan pelajar di Provinsi Banten untuk bersama-sama mensukseskan Pilkada yang jujur, aman, dan damai.
“Untuk itu, mari kita jaga persatuan dan kesatuan serta mementingkan kepentingan bangsa di atas kepentingan golongan. Jangan sampai Pemilu ini memicu polarisasi di tengah-tengah masyarakat akibat berita hoax, isu Sara, propaganda, kampanye hitam yang sengaja disebarkan oleh kelompok-kelompok yang tidak bertanggung jawab,” jelasnya.
Doa bersama untuk Keamanan dan Kedamaian Bangsa ini dihadiri oleh pengurus PW IPNU Provinsi Banten, PC IPNU se-Provinsi Banten dan santriawan santriawati Ponpes Al Marjan.
