Komite Muda Perempuan Indonesia (KMPI) Tangerang Gelar Milad Ke-5 Tahun

TANGERANG,- Dalam rangka meningkatkan pemberdayaan perempuan yang berdaya saing, Komite Muda Perempuan Indonesia Kabupaten Tangerang merayakan hari jadi ke-5 tahun sekaligus tasyakuran yang bertempat di Cafe Ardes, Kamis, 25 September 2025.
Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh, Asisten Daerah Prima, Wakasat Reskrim Polresta Tangerang, AKP Maspuri, Anggota DPRD kabupaten Tangerang Sri Panggung, serta semua pengurus KMPI.
Ketua KMPI Kabupaten Tangerang Widia Wardani Djaiz mengatakan, alhamdulillah hari ini kami merayakan hari jadi yang ke-5 tahun. Artinya KMPI Tangerang masih tetap eksis berjuang dalam pemberdayaan perempuan.
Widia juga menambahkan, KMPI sendiri sudah terbentuk di lima wilayah provinsi, yaitu Banten, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Barat, DKI dan NTT.
“Organisasi perempuan ini bergerak di bidang pemberdayaan, seperti UMKM, jadi perempuan itu bukan hanya mengurus rumah tangga, tetapi harus mempunyai daya saing dan kemandirian,” ujarnya
Di tempat yang sama, anggota DPRD Kabupaten Tangerang dari fraksi Partai PAN Sri Panggung mengatakan, “saya apresiasi KMPI yang sudah eksis dalam menjalan progam pemberdayaan perempuan, terutama peran serta dalam kanca politik”.
Karena, di kabupaten Tangerang sendiri, baru 14 persen perempuan yang ikut di kancah politik yang menjadi anggota legislatif, belum mencapai 30 persen.
“Kami juga akan mendorong perda terkait perempuan dalam pariwisata kabupaten Tangerang, sehingga perempuan bisa mandiri, berani, sehingga dapat berpijak di kaki sendiri,” harap Sri Panggung.
