Saat Liputan, Wartawan Diintimidasi Petugas Keamanan Dinas Perkim Kab. Tangerang

TANGERANG,- Ruang rapat baru milik Dinas Perumahan, Permukiman, dan Pemakaman (DPPP) Kabupaten Tangerang yang berubah fungsi menjadi tempat penyimpanan barang.
Menindaklanjuti pemberitaan sebelumnya, wartawan mendatangi kantor Dinas Perkim untuk meminta klarifikasi, namun saat di lokasi petugas keamanan menyampaikan bahwa Kabid tidak berada di tempat dan tidak ada pejabat lain yang dapat mewakili untuk diwawancarai.
Kemudian, wartawan mengamati langsung ruang rapat yang menjadi sorotan publik. Ruang tersebut berada di area terbuka dan terpisah dari gedung utama. Barang-barang tampak sudah ditata lebih rapi dibanding sebelumnya, namun fungsinya sebagai ruang rapat masih belum tampak digunakan.
Saat wartawan sedang mengambil dokumentasi visual di area tersebut, seorang petugas keamanan datang dan membentak dengan nada tinggi.
“Ngapain mas foto-foto? Izin dulu ke saya! Ini tempat saya!” Petugas keamanan tersebut bahkan sempat memajukan badan dan mendorong wartawan secara verbal dan fisik.
Peristiwa ini menimbulkan pertanyaan serius, mengapa peliputan di ruang terbuka instansi publik harus direspons dengan intimidasi? Bukankah dokumentasi untuk kepentingan kontrol sosial adalah bagian dari fungsi pers yang dijamin undang-undang?
Redaksi akan melanjutkan upaya konfirmasi, baik terkait pemanfaatan aset ruang rapat maupun perlakuan kasar dari petugas keamanan terhadap wartawan. Hingga berita ini diterbitkan, belum ada tanggapan resmi dari pihak Dinas Perkim Kabupaten Tangerang.
